You may take a course without the prerequisites as long as you obtain an override. To request an override for a class, please go to the department that is offering the course. For example, if it is psychology, go to the Psychology Department. Even if that department is willing to issue the override, carefully consider whether or not it is a good idea to take a class that you may be unprepared to take.
